What They Do

Connecting causes that matter with people who care

The Suffolk Community Foundation provide grants to help charities and community organisations who are supporting local people facing disadvantage, to improve their lives.

They do this by working with individuals, families, businesses, professional advisors, and charitable trusts, helping them to fund local groups that are tackling the issues they care about most.

Over 3,000 charities, community and voluntary groups work hard every day in local neighbourhoods across Suffolk to tackle issues such as inequality, loneliness, poverty, poor health and well-being, disability and lack of oppportunity.

Over the past 18 years, the SCF grants team has worked in partnership with fundholders and volunteer grants panels to deliver over 9,500 grants to over 3,000 local charities and community groups.

We are proud to support this wonderful and worthwhile charity.

Here are just a few case studies to showcase some of the amazing charities that they are able to support with ours and your help.

Ways To Give

The benefit of working with the SCF is that they have the connections and experience to help all of us give to the issues we care about.

Every gift, large or small, makes a positive difference to individuals and to communities right here in our home region of Suffolk.

By giving to Suffolk Community Foundation, they will ensure that smaller charities receive the much-needed funding they rely on, to enable them to continue their essential work for the most vulnerable in our communities.
